Q1. What is your Vision?
Ans. To connect the non spatial with the spatial, to bring GIS technology to the common man and to achieve excellence in whatever we do.
Q2. Can you provide maps at any defined resolution?
Ans. We provide maps at a standard resolution of 200 dpi for TIFF, and 150 dpi for Jpeg. But we can also provide maps at any required resolution with prior request. However, the preferred paper size in which the map will be printed will also need to be mentioned.
Q3. Could we replicate the product without prior permission from Prithvi praroop?
Ans. No individual/company can replicate or reproduce our product without taking prior permission from Prithvi Praroop. (Refer to our privacy statement.)
Q4 . Can I order a map from a category which is presently not available in the shop?
Ans. Yes you can order any map from any category not currently available with us. Normally it takes about 15 days to 2 weeks time for the required product generation.
Q5. What are the sources used for the data generation?
Ans. We have used authenticated data from Various Govt. agencies like SOI (Survey of India), Census of India and others for sourcing the details of the base map. Additionally various other maps, in paper and digital format have been used to cross check and validate the datasets.
Q6. Which types of map formats you provide?
Ans. We provide maps in Tiff and Jpg formats. In addition, Vector data in shape file format for all the products could also be provided for digital data users.
Q7. What are your payments methods available for shipping?
Ans. Our Payment methods currently include payments through PayPal account and Cheque.
