Global Coordinates has played a key role in the implementation of S.O 84(E) guidelines dated January 14, 2010 issued by MOCA in a GIS and Remote Sensing environment for an accurate and multivariate analysis for the maximum permissible obstacle clearance height for the issue of NOC in the context of aviation safety. The Government notification S.O 84(E), further requires that every aerodrome operator shall be responsible for preparing zoning maps in conformity with the provisions contained therein with digitized data in WGS 84 coordinates indicating therein all the latest features around the airport. The aircraft rules 1994, pertaining to demolition of obstructions caused by buildings & trees etc, also give the responsibility to the aerodrome in charge for providing proper physical verification of the details of such structures which could be unauthorized and which violate the provisions of the notification, to the government regulator for issuing to the owner an order for demolition of such unauthorized/ violated structure (s) etc. and in the event of non-compliance of the order the aerodrome in charge is required to approach the district authorities for the demolition .
